Our Coaching Director, Nat, recently attended a coaches’ induction session at Camberwell Grammar School as part of preparations for the upcoming season.
Each summer, Nat oversees and coordinates a program involving more than 500 coaches. The induction provided an opportunity for to reinforce the standards and expectations of MSI.
A strong focus was placed on child safety, professionalism, and the expectations we set for coaching. Ensuring that every coach understands their responsibility to create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for young athletes remains central to our organisation’s values. Clear communication, appropriate conduct, and role modelling positive behaviours were highlighted as essential components of effective coaching.
